Creative crafts and social workshop for children of all abilities ages 4-10 hosted to promote self expression and positive experience Kreating Saturdays help children with and without disabilities discover their interests by offering a variety of activities that help them explore their creativity through a wide range of topics and activities from cooking, gardening, painting, woodwork and more! We believe that every child, no matter their diagnosis, deserves equal opportunities to discover, learn, and create their own identity. This months theme: Kreating Hard Work- Join as we work together in building a wooden sculpture! Activities: Work with the team to build a wooden object. Learn to use tools appropriately. Participate in open discussions. Get to know peers. Objectives: Sensory Stimulation. Engagement in process and product methods. Encourage creative thinking. Building confidence in your yourself and ability to contribute to a team. Relationship building with other kreators and leaders. Develop motor skills as we play and learn to cut, glue, and paint.
