Description

A class about gardening with ornamental grasses in North Texas. Add texture and interest to your garden by using ornamental grasses! Join our free in person class to learn all about gardening with ornamental grasses in North Texas. Ornamental grasses can come in many different colors, textures, and heights, adding diversity to any landscape. Large, clumping grasses are often low water use and require little maintenance. They also have deep roots that allow water to penetrate the soil, keeping it in the soil longer for other plants to enjoy. Learn about a variety of ornamental grasses suitable for North Texas landscapes and how to design a garden with large grasses. This is a free in person event. Register here to receive information on how to participate. The class will be 45 minutes long and taught by a Tarrant County Master Gardener.
