Please join us for a special evening of fun and giving as we all come together for some great causes. Please join us for a special evening as we all come together for a great cause.  Raleigh Midtown Kiwanis and Laura/Brett Berra have come together to host the 4th annual Kiwanis Texas Holdem Poker Tournament. This year we have moved the tournament to Bedford Country Club and have expanded from 6-tables of 8-players to 8-tables and a total of 64-players!! This event will include catered dinner with dessert, and goody bags. Additionally, we will have a keg of beer and bottles of wine plus you can BYOB just bring a cooler for your drinks. Our goal is to raise over $20,000 in one night to benefit the following causes ... The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Boys & Girls Club of Wake County, Wake County Dictionary Project, Eliminate (the goal is to eradicate tetanus around the world in partnership with UNICEF), among others.  100% of all proceeds will be distributed directly to charity.   The event is open to any guests and spectators who would like to join, but the play will be limited to 64 players.  The buy-in is a donation of $100, with great prizes going to the top finishers, plus a bracelet (and bragging rights) for the top spot!    Re-buys will be available in the first hour, but only if you're out of chips ($50 donation).  If you prefer to enjoy the party from the sidelines but would like to attend, the cost is a $50 donation and includes dinner, dessert, beer, and wine as well as a goody bag.   Dinner will be served around 6:00 at which time we will do the raffle drawing and announcing the Blind Auction winners (don't miss this - there will be a lot of great prizes to win!).  Bring cash to buy raffle tickets ($20 for 10 tickets, or $5 for 1 ticket).  Please RSVP to this Evite if you plan on attending.  Let us know if you plan to play or enjoy the event as a spectator.  To make your entry official, you'll need to click on the EventBrite link to make your donation.  The first 64 players to sign up on EventBrite are in, and then we'll create an alternate list.  WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SIGN UP AND PAY NOW TO ENSURE YOUR SEAT.
