CONNECTICUT — A panel of coaches and sports media members has completed its initial balloting in the Connecticut high school girls basketball poll, and defending Class LL champion Norwalk is sitting on top of the rankings. The Bears collected 11 of 18 first-place votes to place ahead of Daniel Hand, which had two top nods. Notre Dame-Fairfield had four first-place ballots, while New London had one. Here are the top 10, as well as all other teams receiving votes. NOTE: balloting was completed Sunday, prior to Monday's start of the regular season.
