Support ASD's groundbreaking Workforce Development Program - Groundwork - by purchasing a Mother's Day in a Box! Now on sale through May 4. Each Box includes 5 specialty items: 1 bake-at-home Cinnamon Twist Braided Crunch Loaf (Perfect for breakfast!)1 custom designed Mother's Day card 1 jar of Appalachian Harvest Apple or Blackberry Butter3 plant starts (flowers or veggies) from our Abingdon and Tazewell gardens1 voucher for a free Pick-Your-Own Bouquet from our Abingdon or Tazewell garden between June-October (when flowers are in full bloom!)Pickup for boxes is May 7th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m at the Faith in Action Community Garden at 798 Hillman Highway, Abingdon, VA. If you need alternative pickup in Southwest VA or the Tri-Cities area, please email Hannah Gibbs at [email protected]. All raised funds will support Groundwork, ASD's program designed to provide work and education opportunities across Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. Groundwork helps to provide job security, practical skills, and a genuine opportunity for success for all participants.
