Join Triia for an evening of Indigenous Foods, Indigenous Conversations, three live drawings and a live auction! Mariah Gladstone, of Indigikitchen will be the keynote speaker. Mariah has been featured on The Today Show and has a TED Talk. Three artists will do live paintings, and include Ben Pease, Sammy Bird and Bill Mendoza. The live auction will include a buffalo hunt on a private ranch on the Standing Rock Reservation and a weekend of authentic tipi lodging with a buffalo harvest, storytelling and cultural events on the Blackfeet Reservation at the base of Glacier National Park, and additional auction items! Menu: Smoked Trout on yam crostini with radish & dill, Corn & bean fritters with tarragon butter and cayenne yoghurt, Wild Green & charded corn salad with sunflower seed vinaigrette, bison stew with turnips over wild rice and a mixed berry cobbler with popped amaranth.
