NORTH HAVEN, CT — Catalytic converters were stolen from several vehicles at North Haven High School on Monday afternoon.
The catalytic converters were stolen from three cars that belonged to players on the school's baseball team, according to a parent.
The players reported to the school parking lot around 1:45 p.m. to take the bus to Woodbridge for their game against Amity. The players returned around 6 p.m. and found that the catalytic converters had been stolen, according to the parent.
The thefts happened in broad daylight while other events were going on at the school.
The police department is reportedly checking surveillance footage on the school cameras.
