Press release from Norwalk Public Library System: Sept. 17, 2020 AuthorSpeak at Norwalk Public Library returns virtually with musician and author Chris Frantz, in a discussion of his memoir Remain in Love: Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club and Tina, on Wednesday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m., on Zoom. Library Executive Director Christine Bradley will moderate this presentation. Copies of the book will be available for purchase through the library, and arrangements will be made for Chris Frantz to sign a book plate for each book purchased. Called a "music memoir that is as much about love as about music," Frantz's highly detailed, 'true inside story' is a gold mine for fans of the 1970s and '80s music scene." - Kirkus Reviews In Remain In Love, Frantz takes readers to the rooms where the songs were born (when he wrote "Psycho Killer" with David Byrne and then girlfriend Tina Weymouth), to the stage of late 1970s New York (where the crowd included Lou Reed, Andy Warhol, and Debbie Harry), to the founding of Tom Tom Club, and inside his relationships with love of his life, Weymouth, and mercurial frontman, Byrne. Fairfield resident Chris Frantz is a musician, producer, and drummer for the Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, which he co-founded with wife and Talking Heads bassist Tina Weymouth.
