Manchester Cops Looking For Vehicles In Shooting Incident

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police said they are looking for the occupants of one vehicle that fired shots at another vehicle Monday afternoon. The incident took place at 4:39 p.m. Witnesses told police they heard three distinct gunshots fired from a blue sedan at a silver sedan in the area of Wadsworth and Summit streets, according to an incident report. Police were told both vehicles fled the area at high rates of speed, according to an incident report. No suspects or victims have been identified and the makes, models and registrations of the vehicles have not been determined, police said. Witnesses also said it was unclear whether anyone inside the silver vehicle was injured, according to an incident report. Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call Manchester police at 860-645-5500. Investigators briefly closed a stretch of Wadsworth St. to conduct a preliminary investigation.
