Description
The Essex County Sheriff's Department welcomed a new batch of correctional officers last week. The 15 new officers were sworn in on Thursday.
The graduating class made their class motto a cheeky poke at their circumstances, graduating amid the coronavirus-pandemic. The motto was "Six Feet Apart. Always Together."
The sheriff's department offered a heartwarming message to the graduates, saying "We congratulate our new Corrections Officers and thank their families for their support. Welcome aboard BTA 20-01!"
