Here are the top five stories today in Denver: The mighty Colorado River is the "most endangered river" in the U.S. The river is at the epicenter of the nation's water and climate crisis, as the conservation group, American Rivers, ranks it this year's most endangered. With more than 20 years of record-breaking drought conditions – those that rely on the water from the river are now faced with a series of tough choices. The National Weather Service has issued another wildfire warning for today to limit outdoor burning and activities that could produce a spark. Critical fire weather conditions across lower elevations are expected, as relative humidity of 10 to 20 percent coincides with wind gusts between 25 to 35 mph.
