Here are the top three stories today in Dallas: An immersive Marvel experience will be coming to downtown Dallas this summer. The experience will reportedly be an updated version of the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. that debuted in 2014. Details on dates, times, and ticket prices will be released this summer. (CultureMap Dallas)Carpenter Park will open on May 3 as Dallas' largest downtown park. The city began its Downtown Parks Master Plan in 2004 to address the lack of green space in the urban core. Carpenter Park is the renovation of an existing park - Carpenter Plaza. The new park will feature a basketball court, a dedicated dog run, an interactive fountain, and playscapes for children. (Parks for Downtown Dallas)Cinco de Mayo Dallas Parade and Fiestas is set to return to the city on May 7. This year's festivities will cover over nine blocks of Jefferson Boulevard with DJ music, vendors, exhibits, food trucks, and more.
