NEWARK, NJ — Plantivia Wellness in Newark is spearheading a "Helping Everyone Maintain Peace (HEMP)" fest that will celebrate "wellness, health and the benefits of CBD" for the week of 4/20 – the unofficial marijuana holiday. The week of events kicks off Monday, April 18 and ends Saturday, April 23. Activities will include yoga classes, panel discussions, LGBTQ networking events and a local business crawl. The schedule includes: Monday - April 18, 2022 - "Getting into the Cannabis Industry" - Virtual and In-Person Panel Discussion Tuesday - April 19, 2022 - 'Blooming Boomers', Informational Pop-Up Event. / LGBTQ Networking Event Wednesday - April 20, 2022 - "420 Celebration" - Wake & Bake/ Expungement Clinic and Game Night Thursday - April 21, 2022 - "Cannabis and Paint/Yoga" Bringing the Peace - In Person Art Event Friday - April 22, 2022 - H.E.M.P.™ Fest "Canna Crawl!" - Earth Day Celebration & Outdoor Event In Conjunction With Multiple Business Saturday - April 23, 2022 - Men's Canna-Yoga, Expungement Clinic , Urban Farm Kick Back, and Infused Brunch and Dinner Experience All events will take place at 45 Halsey Street, except the 'Canna Crawl' on Friday, which is a business crawl that will include patronizing multiple Halsey Street businesses.
