Stolen Car Crashes Into Water At Roger Williams Park In Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — Someone crashed a car into the water at Roger Williams Park in Providence on East Sunday, according to police. Providence police Commander Thomas Verdi said the Honda was reported stolen in Cranston, about 30 minutes before officers were called to the park at 7 a.m. Emergency officials found the car partially submerged in the lake near the carousel. Verdi said no one was in the car, and as of Monday afternoon, no suspects have been found.
