RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Riverside County residents who have questions about climate change are invited to a free class Wednesday that aims to provide answers. The class begins at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, and is being hosted by the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources. The class will address how climate change impacts the environment and what contributes to it. The class will also offer tips about adjustments residents can make that could help slow climate change. To access the class, use any computer, tablet or smartphone and go to the Webex meeting link: www.rcwaste.org/classes Registration for the free one-hour virtual class is not required. According to the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources, the agency provides free classes "to reduce waste, help preserve valuable space in county sanitary landfills, and to reduce the amount of chemical waste residents bring to the Household Hazardous Waste collection program for processing and disposal."
