Suspects Sought In Violent Norwalk Shoplifting Case: Police

NORWALK, CT — Just over $2,900 worth of merchandise was stolen Monday from the Dick's Sporting Goods store on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk during shoplifting incident in which a store employee suffered minor injuries, according to Norwalk police. The employee suffered the injuries while struggling to retrieve the merchandise from one of the two suspects. In the surveillance photo above, the suspect in the white sneakers is who tussled with the employee, police said. No weapons were displayed during the theft, and no other details were disclosed. Norwalk police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the two suspects; any information regarding the case should be forwarded to Detective Taylor at [email protected] or at 203-854-3183.
