A fast-growing property management company is expanding and seeking a Maintenance Technician Supervisor to join our team! We manage several property portfolios throughout the Bay Area. This is a fast-paced field position that requires strong critical thinking and organizational skills. Responsibilities: --Support assets of varying sizes, types, ages, and conditions, residents, mechanical systems, and technical needs of each individual community --Manage scheduling and status update meetings --Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property --Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease for new residents to move in --Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate --Complete service requests in a timely fashion --Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment --Perform routine preventive maintenance --Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community. --Perform unit assessments and walk-thru inspections --Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance --Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times --Be available to work on an on-call basis when needed Maintenance Technician Requirements: --High school diploma or equivalent qualification. --Must have a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation. --Basic computer/cell phone skills --A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. --Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. --Physically able to lift 50lbs. --Effective problem-solving abilities. --Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Desired Skills: • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, a plus. • Basic knowledge of carpentry and framing. • HVAC, Landscaping, and appliance repair experience a plus. • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. • Ability to handle physical workload.
