NORWALK, CT — A 22-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a host of narcotics charges Saturday after Norwalk police found quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and other drugs after pulling him over during a traffic stop, according to authorities. Kevin Davila-DeJesus was charged with operating a drug factory, sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, and related charges, after an officer pulled him over at about 8 p.m. for running a red light on West Avenue, police said. The officer smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle, and also discovered that Davila-DeJesus was driving with a suspended license, the vehicle was unregistered and the license plate was to a different vehicle, police said. During a search of the vehicle, police found the following: 94 individually packaged baggies of suspected cocaine weighing over 21 grams60 grams of suspected marijuana9 additional vials of crack cocaineAnother baggie of over 10 grams of crack cocaine 2.5 grams of "spice marijuana" Davila-DeJesus was taken into custody and held in lieu of bail of $50,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 11.
