SUMMARY: This position supports The Duckhorn Portfolios grower relations in Napa, Lake and Solano Counties with grape maturity field sampling, sample processing, field scouting, data collection and entry during the 2022 Harvest season. This is a great opportunity to work in premier vineyards throughout Napa and surrounding counties. Candidates will ideally have some vineyard experience but not required. The estimated time frame for this position is June through mid-October. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Vineyard maturity sampling and processing • Vineyard scouting, data collection and data entry • Harvest logistical support as needed • Follow all safety protocols QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Computer skills, including Excel and Word • Positive attitude and self-starter • Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to drive and work in various temperatures/environments • Ability to work outside for extended lengths of time during periods of undesirable weather • Experience with sampling a plus • Viticulture or Plant Science coursework a plus About Us The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America’s premier luxury wine company, with ten renowned wineries, eight state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, seven beautiful tasting rooms and more than 800 coveted acres of vineyards spanning 22 sustainably farmed Estate properties.
