Riptide Station is looking for a bassist who can sing harmonies. If you can sing leads too, even better. The band plays around the Bay Area anywhere from one to four gigs every week, mostly at wineries, micro distilleries, microbreweries, etc. as well as private work and showcase gigs. The set list is in the general category of rock with several solid originals. We try to play songs people really love and that are fun to play as musicians. Check out riptidestation.com for our setlist and schedule. Riptide Station has been playing together for about 2-1/2 years, is roughly 120 gigs old, and we work hard on our arrangements. Our sound is intricate with a lot of 2 guitar interplay. A groovy, sophisticated bass player who can sing would help take our sound to the next level.
