There are actually quite a few benefits to using a professional center over a babysitter in the home. When infants and toddlers spend part of their day with other children their age, they learn social skills they'll need as they begin to attend playdates and eventually go to kindergarten. Additionally, young children who attend child care have been shown to be better developmentally and academically prepared for entering school. Skeyci Children Program is a child care - Pre -school that provides structure and a Nurturing environment based on an appropriate Curriculum for each age group. Our goal is to ensure your peace of mind as you go about you workday. Our role, as your child's caregiver, is not to provide all the answers for them. Rather, the occasion for discovery and learning. We encourage all children to develop their individual strengths and appreciate each child's unique contribution they offer to the community. PHILOSOPHY 1. Play is life for young children. It enables them to learn through curiosity, invention and persistence. A child's attention span is amazingly long when he/she is interested.​ 2. At our school we have set-up an environment rich with materials that enable the students to play out their thoughts, ideas, anxieties and feelings. The heart of our curriculum is love:) Our Young Infant, is designed around your child's needs and his/her own schedule. We believe that an infant's emotional support is as important as his/her physical growth. In our infant program, indoor/outdoor exploration is important. Our activities include singing, stories, music and movement, sensory activities. We will hold and hug and do our best to create a warm and loving environment for your young child. Our Older Infants (walking-2 yrs old) will follow a daily schedule that supports age appropriate curriculum similar to Young Infant Program and Toddler Program. WHY Skeyci Children Programs?
