Press release from the Village of Lisle: On April 4th, Mayor Pecak issued a proclamation establishing the week of April 18, 2022 as Flood Awareness Week in the Village of Lisle. As part of the Village's participation in the National Flood Insurance Program's Community Rating System (CRS), Flood Awareness Week was established in Lisle for the purpose of increasing awareness of flooding and providing flood mitigation education. Now's the time to visit FloodSmart.gov and learn how to protect your home from flooding this spring. The Village's participation in the CRS program provides homeowners in the regulatory floodplain with a 25% discount on their flood insurance premiums.
