Travel Buddy?

I recently just moved to Renton. I don't know the area well at all! I'm in the "Highlands" and it seems most of the "activities" for people are west of here, west of 405. So, I've scoured the local area and there just aren't a lot of places to meet other people. I LOVE swimming, snorkeling, just listening to the laps hitting the shoreline. It's so refreshing! Last January I started off with the goal of going to Barcelona, Spain in March or April. But I tried finding a "travel companion" for this with ZERO luck! Then I narrowed it down to going to a place like Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for awhile. But that means a passport and being vaccinated. I was surprised by how many people lacked either! I also am aware that for many that would be a financial hardship on them. So I say the following with nothing but GOODWILL intended: *IF* we get a long well and I think we would travel well, depending on where we would go (maybe stay in the US and head for the Southwest or Southern California), I would be willing to pay the cost for the other guy. I've been fortunate that in the sale of my home I made a good profit it on it. That's why, at least RIGHT NOW, I'm in this position to help. So please don't just write back and say "I want to go with you" or "I'm interested", please go to some length to tell me about yourself and WHY you are interested. Otherwise, I won't even respond.
