If I don't put this out there somehow I won't even be able to sleep tonight. You may not have noticed, but if you did and perceived my actions today as ignoring you or in any way rude, it was totally unintentional and I'm sorry. I enjoy seeing you and our occasional "chat." I had so much on my mind today and was thinking of what I had to do and even though you were standing less than a foot from me, my mind was elsewhere. It's the first time that has ever happened to me and it wasn't until I was driving home that I realized I must have come across as a total jerk. I'm going to try to apologize in person next time I see you, even at the risk of embarrassment. I never want to be rude to anyone, but especially you because I think you're so kind. (I don't think it's any secret that I'm attracted to you. That part I probably won't say in person, though.)
