About the Byway The Battle Road Scenic Byway: Road to Revolutions is a route through the towns of Arlington, Lexington, Lincoln, and Concord.
It follows the approximate path the British Regulars took on April 19, 1775 during the battles that marked the start of the American Revolution. The Byway passes many sites of cultural and historical importance.
All-American Road Nomination The Battle Road Scenic Byway Committee, composed of members from each town, is requesting federal designation of the Byway as an All American Road. One of the requirements of this process is to hold a public meeting, explaining the process and the designation.
