Hello, I have a 10 year old chihuahua mix that I want to rehome. He is very sweet and good with cats and dogs, loves car rides and is low energy. The issue I’ve had is I live in an apartment that is mostly carpeted and he is house trained as long as he is let out regularly or he will go to the bathroom in the house. The only problem I have is he doesn’t let you know when he needs to go, the organization I got him from 7 months ago had a doggy door so he went whenever he needed and I think that would be an ideal environment for him. They told me he was house trained, and he kind of is but not completely. Anyone who has experience with dogs understands what I mean. I will only give him to a good home. I think he would be great for anyone, but especially an older person because he is very calm and a sweetheart!!
