Open jam in Eagle River, Sunday afternoons. Geared for acoustic instruments: guitars, fiddles, banjo, accordion, harmonica, woodwinds, bass... Bring tabbed lyric sheets to pass around for your favorite song. Generally, simple 2, 3, and 4-chord songs work best among casual pickers. Example are Credence Clearwater Revival, Hank Williams, Bob Wills, Old Crow Medicine Show, Steve Earle, etc. Toccata and Fugue in C-minor, and Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald are fine tunes but don't work well in such a setting.
