LEXINGTON, MA — On Tuesday, Minuteman culinary arts and hospitality students will provide contactless pick-up for customers who purchased nearly 150 Thanksgiving pies and dinner rolls.
The culinary students have shifted their business model due to the pandemic.
With the school's student-run restaurant closed to the public, the students have enacted contactless pick up for its Thanksgiving items and now make hundreds of meals a month for local non-profits, including and Lexington Food Pantry and Food Link of Arlington, which distributes the meals to people in need in eastern Massachusetts.
Minuteman is an award-winning regional career and technical high school and continuing education institution that integrates robust academic and technical learning.
