Low Female Voice for Band or A Cappella Group

I am looking to join or start a group of musicians as a singer. I guess as someone who is afab I’m technically an alto, but my range is closer to that of a male low baritone or high bass (and I have been working on expanding my range down). I am most interested in rock music but I am open to other genres except country and gospel. Hard rock is where my voice is most comfortable. I’m 30, mobile, and based out of Kennesaw. While I can vouch for my range and experience, I make no promises as to the “likability” of my voice. Lol. I’m more interested in fun and friendship than trying to get famous or make money — though I’m not opposed to that if I end up really meshing with a group. In addition to singing, I also play the ukulele and tin whistle. Interests other than music tend to skew towards history, fantasy, and sci-fi. I would love to jam and practice with a group, but would also just love hearing from those with similar interests.
