With 130-+ days on the water, the docks team is instrumental in the direct success of the team. Job Summary (Essential Functions) Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with good team work ethic Background in sailing and power boating preferred Knowledge of boat and rigging repair/maintenance. Experience with construction, electric and plumbing Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities) Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of club dock facilities/equipment and dry storage area, while providing service to members and guests who use those facilities. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the J22 Fleet and Race Committee Fleet including power, instruments, rigging, cleaning and repairs Act as a Bosun on Race Days or oversee docks in absence of Waterfront Director Assist Waterfront Director and staff with rescue/emergencies Responsible for launching and breakdown of J22 fleet and Race Committee Fleet. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Race Committee fleet including cleaning, and basic repairs. Responsible for the upkeep of two hoists and mules. Responsible for the upkeep and appearance of the race committee mark shed, dockmaster’s office, tool shed and two storage containers Meets and greets all visitor vessels. Work with Waterfront Director to ensure coordination of dockage, cruise ins and race activities. Ensure RC boats are oiled and fueled for all regattas/events. Experience operating all types of boats, power or sail, small or large.
