Central State Door Service is currently seeking a General Labor / Mechanic Helper to join our busy and growing commercial team. This apprentice level role is the perfect opportunity to learn from the best service technicians in the industry. The General Labor / Mechanic Helper will learn service & installations of commercial & industrial dock doors, openers, rolling doors, fire doors, high speed doors, cold storage doors, dock levelers, dock seals, and personnel doors in a commercial setting. In this role you will be paired with a lead technician with the ultimate goal of becoming a field technician after a six-to-twelve-month training period. Central State Door Service offers you paid & unlimited training, to ensure your success. Having the right tools for a job well done is critical and we also provide all tools of the trade at no cost to you. You will ride in style with our top-notch service fleet. All you need to bring are basic hand tools, a desire to learn- serving customers at a high level. Hours for our Commercial Door General Labor/ Mechanic Helper position are Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm with opportunity for overtime, as needed. The ideal General Labor / Mechanic Helper will have strong mechanical aptitude along with excellent customer service skills, a valid PA driver's license, clean driving record, ability to pass background screen, drug screen, and DOT physical.
