NOW HIRING FOR GENERAL LABORERS IN BETHLEHEM, PA Description: Field Service Technician / General Labor - THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL TRAVELING POSITION! - ALL JOB DUTIES WILL BE TAUGHT ON THE JOB! INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE MECHANCIALLY INCLINED ARE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION! *CANDIDATES MUST LIVE WITHIN HOUR RADIUS OF BETHLEHEM, PA OR PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA* Hours: Monday - Friday, working 40-60 hours a week with some Saturdays. This is a TRAVELING role, MUST be willing to travel within the Lehigh Valley area and surrounding states when needed. There WILL be out of town work where you will have to stay overnight. - TRAVEL PAID FOR BY COMPANY! Pay rate: $17/hr - FIRM. $50 per night for per diem + hotel's paid for by the client, each person gets their own room. Job Description: This job requires NO prior industry experience outside of someone who MUST be willing to TRAVEL, show up, work hard, and learn. Everything will be taught. Therefore you will be working with a crew of 1-3, where you'll be learning from the foreman. The job will consist of prepping job sites (gas stations) for testing - set up testing and safety equipment, removal of manhole lids to get access to the underground storage tank. May have to drive a DOT regulated commercial motor vehicle at times. Looking for individuals that are mechanically inclined, not needed but would be helpful to know how to use basic drills and hand tools. Must be able to use basic technology like a computer and iPad - you'll be taught how to connect to the pump stations for interpreting basic codes and learning how to diagnose issues. Must be willing to work outdoors, you'll be working at commercial gas stations, so you'll be working under gas station coverings. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Again and most importantly be willing to work OT and Travel overnight when needed. Why you want to work here? Not willing to travel locally/regionally and work overtime 2. No mechanical aptitude 3. Not comfortable working outdoors 4. Unable to pass 10-panel DT, 7 year & DOT physical 5. No Driver's license and solid driving record Gas station attendants or any personnel who can read gauges, water meter, utility meter readers do well in this role.
