Male singer / lead vocalist needed for original rock band

We are guitar, bass, and drums, ages 30-50, in need of a lead singer/vocalist to finish off the group and get started on finalizing some original songs we have been working on. We would very much like the singer to help shape the songs, and we are good with working on any ideas a singer would bring to the group, as long as the songs are shaped by the group. We want this to be a group effort, so all ideas will be entertained from all members, as long as there is group consensus. We are working on a harder sound and trying to work in some different time signatures and song structures, although that too is in its infancy. We have a lot of favorite bands but in terms of what we are hoping to do we have no real plan. We just want it to be organic and true to the group. Some favorite are Soundgarden, Tool, Guns and Roses, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Faith No More, Megadeth, Metallica, the Doors, Primus, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Midnight Oil, Tears for Fears, the Fixx, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth. I guess we could go on and on, but again, we are not trying to imitate anyone, just find our own sound and create music that we are all proud of. If this sounds interesting, please let us hear from you. We can send some rough recordings of what we have been working on and go from there. If you play an instrument, that’s a bonus but certainly not necessary. Thanks.
