Driver & General Labor To apply, please use our online application: Sunset Ridge Exteriors is looking for a candidate for our in-house Production Assistant – Driver and General Laborer. This position is responsible for: • Delivery and removal of dump trailers from job sites • Dispose of materials at disposal sites and landfills • Maintain stocking, cleanliness, and basic functionality of company trucks and trailers • Pick up / deliver material from various material supplies for delivery to work crews/jobsites • Check work crew clean up and perform second clean up and quality control inspection at job sites. • Pick up extra materials at job sites and return them to proper supplier or shop • Take Photos for record keeping and marketing • Gather information as requested by supervisor from job sites (measurements, pictures, etc.) and report back to supervisor using apps • Check in on crews and install yard signs • Shop cleaning, organization, and material management • Communicate with customers when required. Answer questions for customer or put customers in touch with office personnel or production manager • Assist other production employees with occasional exterior home repairs such as, but not limited to windows, siding, deck, safety spotter, material management, and clean up. This position is a full time 40 hour a week position, 52 weeks a year, regardless of workflow. This is an employee position, NOT a 1099 position or subcontractor. Typical Hours are 7:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday All tools, trucks, fuel, and equipment for all jobs will be provided by Sunset Ridge Exteriors except for tool belt and belt tools. Trucks and vans will be parked at Sunset Ridge Exteriors for use during work hours only. Benefits Include: Paid time off Paid Holidays Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent • Valid Driver’s License (required – driving record will be examined for insurance coverage) • Reliable transportation to work (we are not on a bus line) • Ability to work independently without immediate supervision • Personal Hand Tools /Tool Belt and Belt Tools (Tape measure, speed square, hammer, screwdriver, tin snips, utility knife, chalk line, nail sets, putty knife, plyers, side cutter, etc.) • Problem Solving Skills / Ability to think outside the box The ideal candidate would also possess the following qualifications (preferred but not required). • Superior communication skills and customer service skills • Trailer driving experience • Creativity with repair solutions • Bi-lingual (Spanish) • Construction or repair experience Starting Wage: $15/ hr To apply, please use our online application:
