Description
Local property management company in search of experienced maintenance technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Uses appropriate and required protective safety equipment to perform all duties of the position.
Responsible for staying up-to-date on safety regulations and best practices.
Using chemicals and cleaning supplies provided by the company
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Helps with snow removal and seasonal shoveling of snow.
Manages inventory and maintains shop, work areas, and storage areas.
Transports small equipment or tools.
Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines.
Paints and performs structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
Also performs maintenance on electric appliances, indoor plumbing, and light electrical work.
Provides general upkeep of buildings such as painting, pressure washing, and trash pick-up.
Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
Inspects completed work of vendors for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Follows Company safety regulations. Immediately notifies management of any unsafe working conditions.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet schedules.
Maintains time, work orders, and inspection records.
Keeps manager informed of completed work.
Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines.
Respond to emergencies during off duty hours as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
