How to help ukranian refugees with kids who just arrived?

Looking for information and help where to begin, a mother and 2 kids age 8 and 13 arrived 4/14 and literally cannot find anything except a homeless shelter which is not the place to be, these are not drug addicts or alcoholics, they are good quality people whos home and lives were ruined. Can someone point me in the right direction for immediate help for Ukrainian refugees, they deserve better than this in our country, Apartment housing will not let them be added to stay with their sister and i have no idea how i can be helpful, everything is to expensive these days, few places i have called or emailed never get back to us. Any and all help is very much appreciated, thank you!
