FIELD INSTALLATION POSITION - this position requires work on jobsites NOT in our fabrication shop. For a shop position please apply to Joan of Arc's alternate job listing. Joan of Arc is a fast paced, multi-functional welding company looking for an installer that is able to work with minimal guidance. This position may require some shop fabrication, however it will be primarily focused on Field Installation. The right candidate will also be self-motivated, detailed oriented, a creative outside of the box thinker, and very dependable. This position requires flexibility to move between field installation and shop fabrication depending on project schedules and company workload. Our scope of work encompasses new construction and remodels, structural steel, architectural and miscellaneous metals. If you are that person, read through the more detailed list of Qualifications below, then send your resume and contact number to [email protected] Qualifications: Proficient in MIG/ ARC welding with a minimum of 1 year experience, proficient in layout, ability to read drawings, general knowledge of tools, experience in handrail and structural steel. We are looking for a self- starter with a good attitude. A welder who takes great pride in his/her work Ability to lift, push and pull objects in excess of 50 pounds Structural certifications a plus Ability to work without supervision Ability to read blue prints Problem solver Must have a valid Driver's License General Responsibilities: Get to work and be ready to work on time and be fully alert Fabricate/Install projects from drawings and/or verbal instructions Detail projects that show an eye for quality Meet or exceed project time-frame 40 hrs a week with occasional overtime, hourly rate is dependent upon experience, gloves, safety glasses, boots, and work attire is required but not provided by Joan of Arc.
