Wanted: Double Bass Player

Description

Seeking a double/upright bass player with availability to join a string jazz (violin, guitar, etc...) combo to play Sunday brunches, galleries, etc... Must be familiar with early jazz/swing, tango and other basic Latin styles. Mostly pizz but bowing is a definite plus, as is ensemble/harmony singing. Note: Seeking an actual bass fiddle - EUBs and electric bassists need not apply. Must be local as we insist on in-person practice. Residents of Virginia Beach need not apply.
