About us: Time Market is a locally owned and operated restaurant and market, located in an historic building in West University neighborhood (between the UofA and downtown). Every aspect of food and beverage is chosen for its high quality, utility and beauty. We are consistently busy, and enjoy a diverse crew of employees and community of loyal guests. About the job: This will begin as a part-time position. We will supply all tools of the trade, and need someone with a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a desire to clean and care for the interior and exterior of our wonderful historic property. There will be regularly scheduled cleaning (window washing, cleaning baseboards, dusting, power-washing sidewalks, sweeping and mopping), deep cleaning projects, as well as some spontaneous requests from the owners or managers on site. Building and equipment maintenance (changing lightbulbs, cleaning compressors, changing air filters, etc.) will be required - the ability to safely use ladders is a must. While handyman skills are not required, they would be helpful and could lead to a full-time salaried position with benefits.
