"Joke Biden" didn't get 81 million votes, you're right. "Not Trump" got 81 million votes. Trump was not a "workaholic powerhouse", nor was he strong. He spent hours and hours every day watching Fox News, worried about his ratings, obsessed with what people thought about him like a gossiping schoolgirl. He was so averse to criticism that he filled his administration with yes men that would not challenge him in any way. You know why I really voted for Biden though? It's his base. It's you. It's the people who go to great lengths to flood social media and message boards with loyalty to the Führer, anti anything progressive or innovative culture war. It's the people driving lifted trucks with massive Trump flags flying behind them. It's the reactionaries and regressives that suddenly feel "empowered" by having had a president who they think is like them (he's not). Do I like Biden? No. Will I vote for him to keep Trump or Trumpians like Desantis out of the white house, absolutely. And I would vote for a moderate conservative candidate if I thought he was reasonable, but Trump and co I will not.
