I will be a vendor at this weekend's Central Texas Comic Con at the Extraco Event Center in Waco this weekend. I am seeking 1 person to help with setup on Thursday and then work Saturday and Sunday at the show, including breakdown and loadout on Sunday. I will not need help on Friday. Hours: Thursday (April 21): Noon to 6pm Saturday (April 23): 11am to 6pm Sunday (April 10): Noon - 9pm Job description: Thursday we will unload the van and setup the booth. Saturday and Sunday during the show duties include: assisting customers, watching out for shoplifters, and organizing merchandise. Sunday after the show ends we will pack up the booth and load it into the van. Things to know: You should expect to be on your feet the majority of the time. Merchandise boxes can weigh up to 50 lbs, so any hire will need to be able to lift and carry that amount. Parking fees (if there are any) are not covered. Nor are food and beverages. There will be a lot of direct face time with customers/attendees. Pay rate is $12 an hour in cash paid at the end of the show.
