MGC Logistics is a local Missouri-based company that was established in response to the increase need in the cargo and transportation industries. Our dedicated professionals manage the logistics for cargo, pick-up, and delivery at drop points across Missouri, and other states, up to 300 miles. The team consists of diverse, proactive, and skilled drivers whose mission is the management and safe delivery of cargo. Position Requirements: • Minimum 21 years’ old • 5+ years (preferred) commercial driving experience • CDL preferred • Valid Driver’s License • Clean 3-5 year driving record • Capable of utilizing a smart phone for cargo and route management • Excellent organization skills • Ability to work independently • Excellent time management skills • Problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and • Lift up to 75lbs • Secure all cargo and pallet jack in a safe manner • Criminal background check and drug screening Driver Requirements: • Operate a 26’ Box Truck in a safe and DOT compliant manner • Respond to phone calls, voice mail messages, text messages, and emails in a timely manner • Record time, mileage, and fuel for all runs, using the digital platform, Clockify • Accurate scan of all assigned pallets, packages, and cargo • Skilled with using the Pallet Jack for loading and unloading cargo • Arriving at least 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to the cargo pick-up destination • Proper handling and maintaining of the vehicle and equipment • Report all issues at the time of occurrence Additional Requirements: • Review of driving record, drug screen, and background check • Performance reviews (every 3 months) • Meetings (in-person/virtual/phone) Compensation: Compensation is based on experience and driving record Pay range: $14- $20/hour
