Rehoming senior dog bonded pair

Description

Dot and Dora are a bonded pair of Chihuahua-terrier sisters, about 15 years old. My boyfriend and his mom raised them from when they were puppies - their mother was a stray, and they retain some skittishness and reactivity. We recently acquired them due to my boyfriend's mother's passing, and despite the traumatic experience, they have adjusted pretty well. Unfortunately, however, our landlord is not allowing us to keep them, and we would like to find a good home where they can stay together. Dot (smaller, Chihuahua, mostly white w/ lighter brown) is the more affectionate of the two and likes to be pet. She also has a runt mentality around food (she'll steal from her sis). Dora (larger, rat terrier, chocolate brown & white w/ floppy ear) is somewhat more adventurous - such as on walks around the block - but also gets unsettled/scared easily in unfamiliar situations, and she prefers to watch and interact with you from a distance. She is also the more vociferous barker. These girls love getting morsels of human food: all meats, tofu, broccoli, beans. They would do best in a quiet home (with neighbors that won't be bothered by frequent barking) with a patient owner that can take them on short daily walks. They are potty trained and use pads if they can't get outside. Small rehoming fee to ensure they go to good home. We will include their bed, leashes/harnesses, food, and some other supplies. Please text with any questions. Thank you.
