NEWTOWN, CT — There is one new case of the coronavirus in Newtown as of Wednesday, according to newly released data, bringing the town's total case count to 262. There were 44 total coronavirus-related deaths reported as of Wednesday, according to the daily data report. As of Wednesday, there are 52,220 coronavirus cases across the state, with 4,463 coronavirus-related deaths. There are currently 57 hospitalized patients across the state. To date, Connecticut has tested 1,095,949 people.
