Wanted - Maintenance Professional Part time position (20 to 30 hours per week) Hourly Rate $18.00 to $22.00 Per Hour Mosaic Home Management Mosaic Home Management is a boutique property management and maintenance firm in Orange County. We service some of the most beautiful homes along the coast of California. Looking for candidates with attention to detail and a customer service mind set to help us satisfy the needs of our discerning clients. Maintenance professional will be required to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair projects for various residential homes from Laguna to Newport Beach. Must work both independently and as a member of a team. No day is every the same and the customer is always right. Looking for a well-groomed, respectful, motivated, skilled trustworthy individual to join our team. Onsite hours are weekdays between 8am – 4pm with an occasional opportunity for weekend work at time and a half. 1 year of maintenance or janitorial experience in a hospitality/residential setting, or similar experience required. Construction experience a plus. Ongoing tasks include * Wiping railings, cleaning furniture, oiling hinges, and maintaining metal fixtures(furniture/lanterns), sweeping, and polishing, general cleaning. Basic understanding of the following is a plus: * Electrical switches plugs, light fixtures and ceiling fans * Drains and toilet flappers, garbage disposals, shutoffs and hose bibs * Door and gate hinges * Drywall and paint * Landscape timers and pool equipment, * Water purification systems * Sprinkler/lighting timers Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license. Owning your own tools is a plus but not required. * Position is available immediately * Job will entail driving to various properties to perform the work * Position reports directly to operations manager * Candidate must have reliable transportation * Position provides for hourly pay, and gas reimbursement. Additional opportunities for weekend work with additional compensation arise on occasion. * Training will be provided as needed for new projects * Candidate will operate motorized equipment; (Power washer, electric drill) and performs necessary manual labor and related work as required. * Must lift up to 75 lbs, and will be required to bend, squat and lift as task requires * Candidate must be willing to spend most of the day outdoors.
