The Bungalow Kitchen is looking to hire FT/PT Stewards (dishwashers) to join our team. Job Description: • Putting away dishes neatly in a timely manner • Taking out trash & Linen • Sweeping/ mopping BOH • Washing pots, pans & other kitchen appliances • Collecting dirty pots & dishes from line • Assisting Chef w/ additional tasks • Operating dishwashing machine in a clean & timely manner. • Maintenance of dishwashing machine such as changing water, adding chemicals when needed • Maintaining dish area clean & organized at all times ~* Dishwashing experience in a restaurant is preferred but not required *~ Position pays $17 hour 40 hours a week + additional OT when needed Requirements: - MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!! - MUST WORK WELL WITH OTHERS IN A TEAMWORK ENVIRONMENT!!i - Must be 18 & older - Have a valid Ca ID - Must be able to stand for 6+ hours out of the day - Must be able to Lift & Carry 65+ lbs - Must be able to work in a fast paced environment as work does pick up and a little hustle & effort is required when putting away dishes.
