Ramona Tire & Automotive Service Centers is currently seeking a full time Automotive Technician. We offer competitive compensation and up to $2500.00 signing bonus for the right candidate. Job Description An Automotive Technician must be a self driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the ability to work efficiently and effectively, to ensure the performance of the entire store. Experienced Automotive Technician Responsibilities: Technicians will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. The ideal Automotive Technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs for them. Technicians will perform vehicle repairs within their current capability/ skill level. In depth examination of any vehicle under current supervision, to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended. Effectively communicate with the designated service manager or supervisor when the above adjustments and additional work is needed. Road tests vehicles when required. Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager. Experienced Automotive Technician Qualifications or Requirements: 2-5 years experience as an Automotive Technician A.S.E. certified preferred but not required A valid driver's license High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required Proficiency in the use of common technician shop tools.
