Social Security Disability Representation Company is seeking full-time Claims Analysts to represent disability applicants through the Initial Claim and Reconsideration stages of the Social Security Disability appeals process. The fundamental tasks of the position include but are not limited to: Serving as primary contact for claimants seeking Social Security Disability Benefits at the Initial Application and/or Reconsideration Appeal levels of the process. Completing claimant interviews to obtain sufficient information to develop disability claim for submission to the Social Security Administration. Establishing positive relationships with the claimant and providing sound, comprehensive explanation about the Social Security claim process and appeal rights including such issues as date last insured, administrative finality, prior denials, first insured and appeal constraints. Frequent claimant communication and diary management for claim development. Employer offers paid leave, voluntary benefits (health insurance etc.) and retirement plan. Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree or related experience in insurance, political science, social work or law. EDPNA designation a plus. Position pays commissions in addition to base hourly wage. Eligibility for commissions starts after successful completion of 6 month training period.
