NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown announces that all public parks will be closed including the dog park. The only exceptions will be the Pole Bridge and Orchard Hill preserves for hiking. The Newtown Municipal Center is only open by appointment only. The community center is closed until further notice and memberships will be put on temporary hold until operations resume.
