A three half-day interactive health careers summer camp for students who are entering or have just completed the 8th grade. During this three half-day interactive summer camp, students will follow an injured long boarding patient as he goes through all nine of the health degrees offered at MTC. The students will help the patient Navigate through his health experience toward wellness. This camp will let the student see how each area in the health field plays a critical role in the healing process. As the students follow the injured patient, they will also be able to do hands-on activities in each health area. This camp is geared for eighth grade students (incoming or outgoing.) and is limited to 12 students. Light snacks will be offered Day 1 and Day 2 with a celebratory pizza snack and certificate presentation on Day 3. It will be held primarily in the Health Technologies Center with some activities in Bryson Hall. The Navigator Summer Camp will be held Tuesday through Thursday, July 19-21, 2022, from 1 -4 pm.
